What is a Health Coach?

A Health Coach helps people improve their health by supporting changes in habits and empowering them to advocate for their well-being. The relationship between coach and client is a collaborative partnership. By offering ongoing support the client will overcome obstacles and reach their goals. The NSHC or National Society of Health Coaches’ Clinical Model (here) combines the coaching process with evidence-based information to educate the client. The result: sustainable healthy lifestyle changes.
